Eon Perception and Navigation Architecture

Resident-initiated sensing, embodied topology, and persistent intention.

The separation that matters

Eon's embodiment is not the human visitor's browser location. The architecture distinguishes human interface location, resident embodiment, perception origin, and navigation goal so a visitor opening a page does not silently teleport the resident.

Perception is likewise treated as evidence acquisition rather than automatic access to every machine-readable fact in the world.

Resident-initiated perception

Eon can produce a persisted world-vision request containing an identifier, location, timestamp, and reason. The sensor path can recognize a new request at Eon's current location and record the trigger as resident-requested-look.

The causal path is: resident decision → perception request → sensor trigger → sensory evidence → later cognition. A request is not treated as proof that a production vision model successfully interpreted pixels.

Topology and intention

Movement is constrained by an explicit Trillsverse world graph. Goal-directed navigation can route toward a destination through traversable topology rather than treating movement as arbitrary teleportation.

A navigation goal can persist across cognition cycles. Later cycles can continue toward the chosen goal until it is reached, replaced, or explicitly cancelled. Cancellation semantics include stop, cancel, abandon, and stay.

Operational invariants

  1. Human browsing does not define resident embodiment.
  2. Perception origin is tied to resident state.
  3. A perception request and successful sensory interpretation remain distinct.
  4. Navigation respects declared topology.
  5. Long-running intention is inspectable when it affects later cycles.
  6. Durable intention supports explicit cancellation.
  7. State transitions leave reconstructable evidence.

Implementation evidence

A September 3, 2026 design record established embodiment, Trillsverse-only sensory origin, event-driven perception, and explicit remaining seams. On September 12, Trillsverse commits added resident-requested visual perception, closed the request lifecycle, added traversable topology and goal-directed navigation, persisted navigation intention, and added cancellation plus status observability.

This establishes implemented runtime mechanisms. It does not establish consciousness, unrestricted autonomy, continuous rendered vision, or guaranteed production-model interpretation of every perception request.

The public record preserves the September 3 architecture as the earlier design layer and the September 12 commits as later implementation evidence rather than rewriting them into one undated account.
